Anton Yelchin

Anton Yelchin is an American actor born on March 11, 1989. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the 2009 summer blockbusters, Star Trek as Chekov and Terminator Salvation as Kyle Reese. Prior to these films, he had starred in several independent films, including Fierce People (2006) with Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland, Charlie Bartlett (2007) with Kat Dennings and Robert Downey, Jr., and Middle of Nowhere (2008) with Eva Amurri.

Anton played Mel Gibson's son in Jodie Foster's directorial debut, The Beaver (2011). He starred in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winner, Like Crazy, alongside Jennifer Lawrence, which will be released in theaters in October. Anton also voiced Clumsy smurf in this summer's live-action The Smurfs (2011) and stars in the remake of Fright Night with Colin Farrell.
